Practice makes sense?

I have more than one writing goal for this year. At least one other, for sure, a third on the back burner. The problem is that I am not a writer. I was able to complete a NaNoWriMo back in 2016 and even self-published it on Amazon. But that was mostly to compete with my ever-accomplished friend Dave. The simple facts are that I am not so goods with the words, and my focus is severely lacking.

Nevertheless, I am forging ahead this year with stringing words together in hopes of doing some things. This is the real reason behind blogging again. I’m hoping by trying to write something everyday here, I can strengthen the skills needed to complete the other goals. I understand that this has and will continue to create some nonsensical and crappy posts here, but hopefully, there will be improvement.

I’ve found it difficult to piece together 500 words for a blog post that makes sense. In general, I refuse to go back and read what I have written (This is why journalling doesn’t work for me.), but I have thoughts of doing so in hopes of learning from my past mistakes. Maybe I should take a writing class?

Wait a minute. Did I just have a good idea? I’ve long said I need to find a hobby. Maybe this is it.

Hmm…

Okay, gotta go do some research into this. Thanks for reading.
